By accessing and using PDFx ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
PDFx provides a REST API service for generating PDF documents. The Service processes data in memory and does not store your data permanently. All data is discarded immediately after PDF generation.
3. Use of Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems
- Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
- Overload or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
4. Data Privacy and Security
PDFx is designed with privacy in mind. We do not store your data. All input data is processed in memory and discarded immediately after PDF generation. However, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring the security of your API keys
- Not transmitting sensitive data over unencrypted connections
- Complying with applicable data protection laws when using the Service
5. API Usage and Limits
Your use of the Service is subject to usage limits as defined in your subscription plan. We reserve the right to:
- Enforce rate limits to ensure fair usage
- Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Modify usage limits with reasonable notice
6. Billing and Payments
For paid subscription plans:
- Fees are charged according to your selected plan
- Payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
- You may cancel your subscription at any time

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by PDFx and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to the content you submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant PDFx a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of generating PDFs.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PDFx shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
